The Impact of Service: Packing Lunches at the Five.12 Foundation

Our most recent project took place at the Five.12 Foundation, an organization devoted to ensuring that elementary-aged school children in our local area do not go hungry over the weekend. Many people are unaware that while these children receive free breakfast and lunch at school during weekdays, their nutritional needs extend beyond the school week. The weekends can be challenging, with some children having little to no food at home.

Understanding this critical need, our team and families gathered in a spirited event where we packed over 3,000 lunches. These lunches are crucial; they represent more than just meals—they symbolize hope and the community's commitment to its youngest members.

A Family Affair: Building Bonds Through Giving

What set this project apart was the involvement of our entire families. It transformed the service day into a corporate responsibility activity and a personal, hands-on experience that allowed our children to participate in acts of kindness and community service.
