“Bill” was raised in the Hudson Valley region of New York. He attended Syracuse University and earned bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Finance. Relocated to Wilmington in 1989 he began a very successful career in corporate banking internal finance. His 17 year career included roles as a Risk Analyst and Manager as well as a Business Analyst and Financial Controller.
In 2006, Bill left the world of corporate finance and began his new career as a Financial Advisor with Edward D Jones & Co. He quickly adapted to his new role, by applying his unique experience as a Risk and Budget Analyst. He began gaining clients by educating them the importance of understanding the inherent risks of investing and managing those risks through asset allocation, diversification, and the selection of investments held in a long term strategy.
Bill believes that it is essential to fully understand a client’s needs and objectives before making any recommendations. Through a collaborative approach, and working face to face with clients he helps them define their financial goals and objectives, and design personalized investment portfolios to help achieve them.
Bill takes pride in sharing his knowledge and experience with the local community through his work as a volunteer instructor with the Delaware Money School, where he teaches free seminars on a variety of financial topics. Bill resides in Wilmington with his wife, Mary, and son, Sam.
