1847Financial Oklahoma/Kansas and Managing Principal, Ken Kolosso, hosted a standout 2024 Kickoff Meeting that blended professional development, camaraderie, and a dash of unconventional fun at Pickleball venue, Chicken N Pickle. Adding to the unique flair, instead of the usual business attire, attendees adorned apparel of their favorite sports teams.

The event boasted an impressive turnout, with nearly 100% attendance from over 30 financial professionals and their team members, 12 home office representatives, as well as local firm leadership. The day kicked off with a robust session of training and development, featuring insights and updates from top leadership with Penn Mutual Operations, broker-dealer HTK, product teams, and the Advanced Sales team. A top highlight, hand-selected by the Financial Professional Advisory Council, was a compelling panel presentation by the firm’s top-producing team.

Another touch of originality was during the Recognition Ceremony - instead of the usual trophy or plaque, award recipients received various levels of Omaha Steaks packages. The amazing day concluded with some friendly pickleball competition with the Managing Principal himself, creating an atmosphere of teamwork and fellowship.  “I spoke with several home office attendees who said this was by far the most fun and unique kickoff meeting they have ever attended.
